The teams

The NOZ Universe represents 6,000 employees in France and worldwide, 65 different nationalities, with strong growth potential and a large number of vacancies.

International, diverse and committed teams

The NOZ Universe campus

Currently, 500 people work on the Laval campus (53): sales and marketing teams, finance, human resources and communications, IT, transport and procurement, legal, and more.

Logistics platforms and network of stores

On the logistics platforms, the teams receive, prepare and distribute lots destined for NOZ shops. In the stores, managers, assistants and multi-skilled employees offer customers new arrivals every week.

International teams

Sales staff cover the world, looking for surplus stock. They are in contact with more than 230,000 suppliers, looking for new markets to develop.

All NOZ citizens,young and old (up to 38 years of adventure!) bring their experience, ideas, desires and culture of results together. They all work towards the same goal: to become the world’s No. 1 stock clearance company.

Training throughout the journey

The NOZ Universe supports each employee through a dedicated and certified training organisation, with ongoing skills development and talent monitoring.

The training organization

Founded in 2004, the NOZ Universe training center is located on the Laval Campus (53) and welcomes trainees from all over Europe. All of our employees have access to a large catalogue of training courses, both face-to-face and e-learning, which enable them to master the fundamentals of their profession. Refresher training is regularly updated to ensure that the skills of our teams develop appropriately. Training employees throughout their careers is one of the keys to the NOZ Universe corporate plan.

The Boost Academy

A dedicated training section opened in 2022 to ensure that new sales staff are fully integrated into the NOZ Universe. Graduates can learn the job of a sedentary buyer specialized in stock clearance and master its specific features. Our trainers offer a progressive and effective methodology for boosting the skills of new employees, using a teaching method that combines theory and practice.

A wide range of skills are acquired and developed through this system: knowledge of destocking, identifying suppliers, adapting sales pitches, negotiating offers, managing the business, and more.

Newly recruited buyers are prepared to effectively and pro actively join the Purchasing Platform.

The mercato: internal mobility within the NOZ Universe

One of the priorities of the NOZ Universe is to support all employees in their daily development. We know that people’s professional and personal needs and desires change throughout their lives. Developing a career, moving to another town or region, changing jobs: that’s what we call the “mercato” in the NOZ Universe! If your skills are equal, an internal candidate will have priority over an external candidate. Our employees are free to choose their professional direction within the NOZ Universe, while being supported throughout the process, from recruitment and training to integration.
