With its 11 platforms spread across the country, the logistics department ensures that unsold stock reaches NOZ stores as quickly as possible.
11 LOGISTICS PLATFORMS
Flexible and agile, the NOZ Universe logistics platforms have become an essential link in the organisation over the years, enabling NOZ shops to be supplied with increasingly competitive products. Benefiting from national and European coverage as well as logistics and transport structures that have been tried and tested for over 40 years, NOZ platforms are also equipped with the most recent innovations in the sector (automation, robotisation, high threshold, etc.).
From warehousing and handling to packaging and transport, they master every stage of the supply chain, ensuring a quality of service that lives up to the expectations of NOZ Universe customers.

Transport
NOZ Universe logistics platforms also have the capacity to organise international (containers or road), national (multi-modal), regional and local transport activities.
Double-decker trucks
Aware of the impact of transport on the environment, the NOZ Universe is constantly improving its logistics to optimise goods transport.
In 2020 and 2021, the NOZ Universe set up grouping platforms in Europe to optimise the fill rate of lorries before goods are dispatched to France. In 2023, the aim is to develop these platforms in order to limit CO2 emissions from the transport of goods as much as possible.
To complement these efforts, a new range of double-decker trucks has been deployed at 4 logistics platforms (Loiron, Angers, Chaumont and Guéret). This type of vehicle allows the reduction of additional transport journeys. A dozen trucks have been ordered and entrusted to NOZ Universe transporters.
The use of these new trucks will reduce the number of trips by approximately 4,500 km/week, which represents approximately fifteen fewer lorries on the road each week. The reduction in carbon emissions from the transport of these goods is estimated at 30%. Pallet heights are also checked. Optimisation is essential to ensure that lorries do not have to travel with empty available space.
